Upper-level Storm System is On the Move..
The low pressure and associated cold air aloft is slowly moving its way across Texas. Looking at satellite and radar animations I would put the storm system north of San Angelo and west of Abilene moving eastward at this time.
Snow flurries and light snow have been noted in Abilene and Mineral Wells. I expect light rain mixed with snow to begin moving into the area this afternoon and that will change over to all snow this evening and tonight. Once again, possible accumulation areas will be highest between I-20 and the Red River valley.
