A few storms roaming the area but most activity is east of Denton...

Here is the latest NOWcast Courtesy of the National Weather Service:

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON MAINLY ALONG AND EAST OF I-35. HEAVY RAIN...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND SMALL HAIL WILL ACCOMPANY SOME OF THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVE EAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH. A FEW STORMS BECOME SEVERE PRODUCING HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER AND 60 MPH WIND GUSTS.


Most of this activity is just to our east, but occasionally it shows an westward drift. Be aware of weather conditions if you are outdoors today. Be aware of lightning should a storm move near your location.
