« High Grass Fire Danger Today... | Main | Unsettled weather will be with us starting Sunday afternoon... »

A very nice weekend on tap for Denton...

A weak cool front is moving through the area at this time. It’s bringing a few clouds with it and a wind shift to the north. Winds will be much calmer today than yesterday thank goodness. Between the pollen and the wind I’m about to sneeze my head off. Anyway, the winds will remain light until Sunday when they really crank up out of the south in advance of our next and stronger cold front. We could see some pretty heavy thunderstorms Sunday night. I’ll keep an eye on that for you.

High temperatures today will be in the mid 60s with partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow, depending on cloud cover, we will probably be hanging around 70 degrees for a high. Winds will shift to the south and begin to pick up in the afternoon and start the transport of Gulf moisture into our area. Sunday will feel more like a spring type day with gusty south winds, rising humidity and increasing clouds. We should see a high temperature in the upper 60s Sunday afternoon. The low tonight will be in the 40s. Due to the increase in moisture the low on Saturday night will be around 60 degrees.

Enjoy your weekend as it will be a pleasant one.
