Wind and Fire Still a Cause for Concern Today... updated!
Wind will be the story for the next couple of days in the Denton area along with a continued wild fire threat. Winds may not be as strong today as they were yesterday, but we could still see gusts near 40mph. The winds will possibly be stronger once again tomorrow with gusts closer to the 50mph range again.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect today along with a Wind Advisory. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for tomorrow which will probably be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning in the morning.
