The Elevated Grass Fire Danger Continues Today...

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Denton county from noon to 6pm. Be very careful this afternoon folks as fire danger will be high.

Courtesy of the National Weather Service:

An upper level storm system is moving across the state today and will keep cloudy to partly cloudy skies through early afternoon. There are a few echoes on the radar this morning, but the majority of this activity is evaporating before making it to the surface. Don’t be surprised to see a sprinkle every now and then until the clouds clear out.

The forecasted warm-up is still on track and afternoon highs around the 70 degree mark should be plentiful around the area this weekend.

Have a good Thursday.
