« A very warm and windy Sunday.... | Main | Denton weekend weather will be nice... »

Slight chance of storms tonight, otherwise expect above normal temps all week...

An upper level storm system and associated cold front will move through our region over night into Tuesday morning. Drier and cooler air will filter in behind this system throughout the day on Tuesday. Until then we can expect another windy and humid day for Denton.

As the front sweeps through there is still a slight chance of thunderstorms along and ahead it. Again the best chances appear to be in the eastern sections of the area.

Three more upper level storm systems will pass through the area this week. However, moisture will be limited after Tuesday’s front, so I don’t expect any more chances of rain until maybe next weekend. Temperatures will cool down somewhat after the front, but they will remain above seasonal normals all week. At this time I don’t see any freezing temps for the next 5 days.

Enjoy the weather and have a great week.
