Fog will lift and a nice Sunday afternoon is on tap for the Denton area...
There is some pretty dense fog hanging around this morning and actually a few weak showers have popped up on the radar. That goes to show us how much low level moisture is in the air near the ground. If you go up about 1300 ft the air becomes really dry. This dry air will mix down by early afternoon and pave the way for partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures.
Once the sun makes it out we will see temperatures making it into the upper 60s by this afternoon. Tomorrow we will see high temperatures making it into the low 70s with very gusty winds. The wind could gust to near 40mph at times tomorrow, so just be prepared and take proper actions for high winds in your area.
We will see a couple of cold fronts move through the area this week; the first being on Tuesday. Another will follow on Thursday. At this time the best chance for precipitation this week should occur with the passage of the front on Thursday. Moisture may be limited so the forecast will definitely need to be fine tuned as we go.
So get out an enjoy a couple of more days of this “taste of spring” weather.
Enjoy your Sunday and have a great week.
