Rain is in the forecast...
Another warm humid day is in store for us, but some changes will take place over the weekend beginning tomorrow.
The area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico is beginning to sling moisture into southeast Texas today. As it moves into the central parts of the state it will increase our moisture quite a bit. At this time it looks like Saturday afternoon into Sunday night we will have a pretty good chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms will have the potential to produce very heavy rainfall. A weak cool front will move into North Texas on Columbus Day and begin sweeping the moisture out of our area. It's not the Fall cold front we wanted, but will still serve to cool us down some for the first part of next week.
Enjoy your weekend and keep an umbrella with you just in case.
