Tropical update...Humberto

Well, the disturbance near the gulf coast has now been classified as a Tropical Depression (winds of at least 38mph). A hurricane hunter aircraft is due to fly through the area in the next few hours to get more detailed data. A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued from Port O'Connor Texas to Cameron Louisiana. I will continue to monitor this and keep you updated.

This disturbance has now been confirmed as a Tropical Storm (winds 39-73mph) and has been named Humberto. Current wind speed is 45mph. Humberto is located 70 miles south southwest of Galveston Texas and is moving north at 6mph.
