Spotty Rain

Talk about spotty rain.
My wife and I took a walk on the Ray Roberts Greenbelt Monday afternoon. My son rode his bicycle. We walked a mile down the trail. When we turned around to head back my son rode on ahead. As the thunder rumbled around us, we walked a little faster, hoping to avoid getting caught in a dounpour. Of course my son on the bike beat us back to our car. When we got back, we were dry but he was soaked. Why? The downpour was just ahead of us. We were slow enough on foot by about a half-mile to miss the downpour. My speedy son got back in time to play in the rain.
The moral of the story is: Just because your neighbor got rain doesn't mean you did.
