Flooding this morning!
A weather disturbance is traversing the area from west to east this morning causing flooding. Some folks will see 1 to 2 inches of rain this morning with some isolated amounts up to 4 inches. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through the afternoon for us. Do not drive into areas where water covers the road. You may think you can make it, but sometimes parts of the road could be washed away and you will find yourself in very hazardous situation. As the National Weather Service slogan states: TURN AROUND…DON’T DROWN!
A Flash Flood Warning has just been issued for Denton County until 10:30am!
