Drier air is on the way....

The much advertised “fall-like” cold front has entered the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles where some temperatures are in the upper 50s as of this post. Tuesday is looking to be a nice day and Wednesday morning is going be very pleasant. Fall begins to tease us!

This morning’s extreme rains show how much water was in the air around us waiting to be squeezed out. We could see some additional flooding through tonight as scattered storms are beginning to develop along the Red River in response to the next frontal passage. These storms should not be near as numerous as this morning. However, keep in mind that where any rain falls it will be heavy and flash flooding will be a possibility.
