Rain in forecast...Lunar eclipse this morning

Comment received from: "Robert"

A couple of more days of hot weather for us and then some relief from the heat. A cold front will be flirting with the area on Thursday and at this time that looks to be when the best rain chances will begin. An upper level low that moved out of the gulf is making its way across central Texas and as it moves to our southwest the gulf moisture will begin to flow into the area in earnest. This may be about the same time that the front is in the area, so some people may see some locally heavy rainfall when all is said and done by the weekend. I'll have a better handle on what to expect for the holiday weekend later. It's all up to the front.
